Holiday Gifts Under $70
It's the most wonderful time of the year: shopping season. My holiday picks are perfect for Secret Santa, coworkers, friends we need to buy "a little something" for. Skip the gift card for a personal touch this season. That said, my holiday gifts fit the following criteria:
Stay relevant. Steer clear of holiday-specific presents. By the time we exchange, it's well into December. No one wants to use candy cane scented lotion after Dec. 25th. I can't tell you how many Christmas soaps I've been given that I pack away each year.
Useful gifts only. I don't buy sets because there's a small chance the recipient will use everything in it, especially if it's a variety of scents. This is the same reason I don't buy sets for myself. I love my perfume, but will never use the lotion or shower gel. Bath & Body sells adorable sets with attractive packaging, but who needs the little sleigh it comes in? At the end of the day, it leads to clutter we feel bad to throw out.
Simple yet significant. I will not sacrifice quality even in stocking-stuffer territory.
